The preliminary examination for the post of officers of ten banks and financial institutions of the country has been postponed. Director of Bankers Selection Committee (ongoing duty) sent a notification from the head office of Bangladesh Bank on Thursday (December 14). This information has been confirmed in a circular signed by Rafiqul Islam.
According to the notification, the preliminary examination to be held for the purpose of appointing 2775 vacant posts of ‘Officer (General)’ based on the year 2021 in 10 banks and financial institutions belonging to the Bankers Selection Committee Secretariat on December 23 has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.
The notification also said that the changed date and time of the examination will be published in due course. Earlier, in the first week of January of this year, the Bankers Selection Committee published a notification for the recruitment of 2 thousand 775 manpower for the post of Officer (General) of 10 banks and financial institutions that are members of the Bankers Selection Committee.
The 10 banks and financial institutions include Sonali Bank PLC, Janata Bank PLC, Agrani Bank PLC, Rupali Bank PLC, Bangladesh Development Bank PLC, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation, Pravasi Kalyan Bank, Employment Bank and Investment Corporation of Bangladesh.
