46th BCS applications are being accepted that can be made till December 31. It has been planned to conduct the preliminary examination of this BCS in March next year.
Public Service Commission (PSC) Chairman Sohrab Hossain told The Daily Campus this information on Wednesday.
PSC chairman said, 46th BCS notification was planned to be published in January. However, due to some complications, the notification was released in November. This BCS preliminary exam will be organized by March next year.
The plan was to complete the 46th BCS within a year. In response to the question whether it will be possible to implement it, Sohrab Hossain further said, we want to complete this BCS as soon as possible. A lot of things will be changed as the 45th BCS written exam gets postponed. But we will try to finish the 46th BCS quickly.
Earlier, Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) published the 46th BCS notification on November 30. Here, a total of 3140 cadres will be appointed in the vacant seats of various important posts in the state structure.
According to the notification of PSC, a total of 489 people will get opportunity in various cadre positions of administration, police, foreign affairs, etc. Also, Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has recommended the appointment of 2074 people in the related vacant posts including Railway Engineering, Roads and Highways, Public Health Engineering etc.
Furthermore, 429 people will be appointed in education in this year’s BCS. Candidates will be selected to vacant posts of General Education and Government General Colleges. PSC announced a total of 91 vacant posts in various subjects in these colleges. Apart from this, 57 people will be appointed in various specialized institutions including technical in education.
