The young generation cricketers of Bangladesh made a new history at the Dubai International Stadium. After the Youth World Cup in 2020, once again the great success of Bangladesh cricket has come through the hands of the youth team. This time, Tiger Cricket was crowned as the best of the Asian continent. Bangladesh defeated UAE by a big margin of 195 runs in the final of Asia Cup. Chasing a target of 283 runs set by the Junior Tigers, Emirates were dismissed for just 87 runs.
Bangladesh got a big win against UAE in the group stage itself. In the semi-finals, India, the team that has won the most titles in the tournament, lost. Naturally, the Junior Tigers were full of confidence. In the final, the tigers kept that mood from the beginning to the end. They did not give any chance to the opponent UAE in the Ekpeshe final.
In the beginning was Ashiqur Rahman Shibli’s marathon century of 129 runs. He was accompanied by Chowdhury Mohammad Rizwan and Ariful Islam. One scored 60, another scored 50.
