The voluntary organization Proyas is standing by the side of the winter victim in the middle of the night in Feni. The members of the organization distributed hundreds of blankets among the cold-affected people in different places of the city including railway station, Mohipal, Sadar Hospital of Feni on Wednesday (December 27) midnight.
Mohaiminul Islam Zipat, coordinator of Proyas, said that people suffering from cold in different parts of the city at night. Our initiative is to ease their suffering. From a place of responsibility, Proyas will continue such initiatives in the future to contribute for the underprivileged people.
Intisar Farhat bin Islam, the founding member of the organization, said, when we wrap our blankets in our homes and go to sleep comfortably, many people in spend the night sitting at bus stands and railway stations in acute winter. Sharing joy with those helpless people is really a different feeling. Our effort is to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged people.
Regarding the program, Mir An-Nazmus Saqib, the advisor of the organization, said that Proyas takes these initiatives every year to meet the needs of people. We will be happy if the suffering of the underprivileged and marginalized people is alleviated a little in this initiative.
At that time, the coordinator of the organization Mohaiminul Islam Zipat, co-coordinator Samir Islam, founding member Intisar Farhat bin Islam, general member Asadullah bin Jahangir, Md. Anisuzzaman Pamel, Sabkat Zahid Bin Islam, Saif Uddin Saqib and members from various levels were present.
