A job seeker has filed a writ in the High Court seeking cancellation of the first phase examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in a government primary school held recently. On Wednesday (December 13), Fatema Akhter Sathi filed a writ on behalf of the candidates.
It is said in the writ petition that the first phase of assistant teacher recruitment exam was held in the government primary school last December 8. Information about question leakage, device fraud, proxy and corruption has been revealed in that exam. Therefore, the cancellation of the examination has been requested.
Fatema Akhter Sathi said that there were 3 lakh 60 thousand 697 candidates in the first phase of the examination. Many students were absent—due to strikes, blockades, inclement weather and suspension of long-distance transport.
Earlier last Monday (December 11) in front of the National Press Club, a section of the candidates formed a human chain to demand the cancellation of the assistant teacher recruitment exam in government primary schools, alleging massive irregularities and fraud.
On Friday (December 8), the first phase of the examination for the recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools ended.
